We recently celebrated Jade and Lane's birthdays. Jade turned 4 years old on May 2nd. It is crazy to think she is that old, it has gone by so fast. She is such a smart little girl, somedays we think she is more like 16. She really blesses our lives and keeps us on our toes. Grandma Juanita made her a barbie cake for her birthday, it was really cute. I have a picture of the front of the cake, I will try to post it later.

Lane turned terrible 2 on May 10 and oh boy is he giving us a run for our money! It was pretty funny at his birthday party, he started screaming when we were singing happy birthday to him, he just hated it for some reason. Grandma Juanita made him a train cake for his birthday and he loved eating all the candy and cookies off of it. Thanks grandma for the cute cakes!

For thier birthday, Grandpa Marc and Grandma Pam build the kids a swing set! Jade loves it, Lane is still a little scared, but I'm sure he will learn to love it also! They are so lucky to have such great grandparents!

So I am going to try blogging! I really have no idea how this works, but I'm excited to give it a try. I would like to posts pictures and things of the going-on's in our life. So here we go with my first "blog" (that's what it is called, right).

We had a birthday party for my parents today. My dad's birthday was on the 12th and mom's is on the 23rd. They are going to be 51! shhhhhh, don't tell. We tried to invite a lot of people and give them a suprise birthday party but Brooke and I are not very good planners. Still, we had a good turnout. Grandpa Jerry and Rawson, Grandma Afton and Grandpa Jake, Delwin and Tena, Ernie and Debbie Tate, Marc, Pam, and Carson Kelly all attended, along with Brooke and my family.
