Yesterday was Father's Day. I spent some time contemplating all the fathers in my life. I really have a lot to be thankful for. First of all is my amazing husband, he is saying such a great dad for our kids. He is always working with them, playing with them, reading them books, and teaching them about the gospel. You never really know when you get married how your spousr will be as a father, but I am so lucky to be married to a guy so totally committed to his role of father.
Other fathers I am grateful for in my life include my grandpa Jake and Grandpa Jerry. They are two of the most hard working and honorable men I know. They have both always supported me.
I also have a fantastic father in law, and boy howdy am I thankful for that. He tries so hard to be on my good side, and he is always so supportive and loving. He always tells me I'm doing a good job as a mother, and I really appreciate that. He is also a super great grandpa, my kids are so lucky.
And last but definitely not least is my own dad. I've always looked up to him and sought after his advice and praise. Up until I got married, I thought he was the smartest, toughest, hardest working man I knew. (Now only my husband matches up). He is a great grandpa to my kids and I'm grateful for the influence he has in their lives.
Anyway, so we spoiled daddy and even made him yummy zucchini brownies.... KyLin loved helping me (:
